Mikme was founded in 2014 by Philipp Sonnleitner and Marc Planeck, both exAKG engineers. They are in the audio tech space and believe in a future where all smartphone content sounds great and the transmission of audio data no longer relies on cables. Currently, mikme has brought 3 microphones and 1 app to market. The mikme team has their headquarter in Vienna.
At mikme they see the evolution of smartphones and believes everyone is a creator. They are here to solve the big issue where inbuilt microphones struggle to capture sound at the source. At mikme, they are dedicated to ensuring that digital content has exceptional sound quality.
One of the USPs is their small, portable, compatible, user-friendly microphones that allow you to wirelessly capture studio-grade sound at the source. They also have an easy way to connect, where the creation of their app that allows you to create audio and video content, edit it, infuse it with your brand then upload it directly to your socials. Currently, it is only available for iOS users.
