What is 360-degree feedback?

360-degree feedback is a comprehensive performance technique, where all the stakeholders are taken into consideration when assessing one’s performance.

Example of 360-degree feedback

For example, if you’re a Marketing Team Lead, all your supervisors, and other team leads on the same level as well as your subordinates give feedback about your work performance.

It has both advantages and disadvantages. The pro is that this helps the organization to see a complete image of the person, and it also helps the individual to get a better understanding of how their colleagues perceive them in the workplace. On the other hand, as you might guess, the process is very thorough and resourceful.
