What does Employer Value Proposition (EVP) mean?

Employer Value Proposition is the value and benefits the employer offers to their employees in exchange for their work.

Employee Value Proposition is a key element of Employer Branding, its purpose being differentiation from the competition to appeal to potential future workers. An EVP focuses on what makes the company a better place to work than any of the competitors, including food, gym membership, flexible work hours and other benefits like paid leaves.
